Coin collections from the German Reich known as Deutsches Reich existed from 1871 to 1945. The name means "Holy Roman Empire of the German Nation". Following the Anschluss annexation of Austria in 1938, Nazi Germany informally named itself the Greater German Reich. The name was sed two years 1943 - 1945 of Nazon rule under Adolf Hitler.
